December Shopping, Dining, and Holiday Fun for All
FLEMINGTON, NJ (November 29, 2017) – On Thursday nights in December holiday lights, horse drawn carriages, vintage fire truck rides, visits from Santa and the famed “Paw Patrol”, and live music will take center stage in Flemington. “Thursday Night Holiday Lights,” a program sponsored by Flemington Community Partnership (FCP) with help from dozens of community volunteers and organizations, will make the historic area glow with the holiday spirit.
“Historic Flemington will be the place to be on Thursday nights in December for family fun, a night on the town with friends, and discovering fabulous finds in one of our many unique shops,” said Ann Meredith, director of FCP. “Our business community and volunteers are working together like Santa’s elves to create magical holiday memories while enjoying some of the best shopping, dining, and holiday fun the region has to offer.”
Flemington’s Thursday Night Holiday Lights will be held December 7, 14, and 21 from 6 - 8 p.m. on Historic Flemington’s Main Street, Mine Street, Stangl Road, and Turntable Junction.
Historic Flemington will be bedecked with beautiful decorations and aglow with holiday lighting and hundreds of luminaria that will line the streets of one of New Jersey’s most quaint Victorian-era towns. Dozens of shops, many competing in a borough-wide holiday window decorating contest, are also rolling out the red and green carpet for visitors and shoppers to enjoy.
